Ilya's negative personal experience with the existing technological solutions in the dementia-care industry encouraged him to create a unique and multifunctional tool that can be deployed in every care home. Having acquired full team support from a medical doctor and two AR experts, Ilya built a tablet-based app that assists not only the nurses and care home staff but also the patients themselves. After testing the product at two institutions, Dorothy has already witnessed a clear improvement in the daily lives of care homes and noticed other potential use cases for it, such as deploying check-lists for caregivers. 1 in 3 people will be exposed to dementia in the coming decades - there is an urgent need for such product and Dorothy plans to be the key app to serve our aging society.
